It began with a young solicitor called Nathan Silverbeck, establishing a small general firm in 1946, dealing in many areas of law including personal injury.

The firm quickly developed a reputation for always putting customers first and so soon began to flourish. This further expansion led to Jim Rymer joining as an article clerk, and later he became a Partner and to this day remains at the helm as Chairman. Jim was subsequently joined by his brother Charles as a trainee solicitor who today is SR’s Compliance Partner.

As the business grew, so did the skills and level of expertise, and the firm was able to create a dedicated catastrophic unit offering clients who had suffered extensive, life changing injuries a service which covered rehabilitation, alternative housing, full time liaison and the funds with which to support their recovery.

Over the last few years, the firm has become a specialist personal injury practice, dedicated entirely to assisting those who have suffered personal injuries as a result of an accident that wasn’t their fault. It now offers a range of specialist personal injury claims services including road traffic accidents, employer’s liability and public liability.

The legal industry has seen many changes over the last 60 years, however with a strong culture for excellent customer service instilled within the company and its people, Silverbeck Rymer have developed into one of the largest personal injury solicitors in the UK helping thousands of injured people every year get the compensation they deserve.
